Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing the website, using public tools, submitting an inquiry, or using the customer platform, you agree to these Terms. If you are acting on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Services

teknic.io provides security assessment, consulting, diagnostic tooling, reporting, and related platform services. Specific commercial services may also be governed by statements of work, order forms, master service agreements, nondisclosure agreements, or other signed documents. If there is a conflict, the signed agreement controls.

3. Authorized Use

You may only use the public tools and services for lawful purposes and only with respect to systems, domains, assets, or environments that you own or are authorized to test, analyze, or administer.

4. Account Security

If you receive account credentials or a platform invitation, you are responsible for maintaining confidentiality, restricting unauthorized use, and promptly notifying teknic.io of suspected compromise.

5. Customer Content

You retain ownership of information, files, and materials you submit. You grant teknic.io a limited license to host, process, analyze, transmit, and use that content as necessary to provide services, maintain security, support the platform, and comply with law.

6. Confidentiality

Public content is not treated as confidential by default. Confidential information exchanged in connection with a commercial engagement should be covered by a signed NDA, MSA, SOW, or similar agreement.

7. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

• No unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful use.
• No use against targets without authorization.
• No efforts to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the platform except as expressly authorized by law or contract.
• No submission of malware, credential stuffing attempts, or data designed to exfiltrate or compromise third-party systems through the service.

8. Fees and Payment

Paid services are subject to quoted pricing, order forms, invoices, payment terms, and taxes where applicable. teknic.io may suspend or limit services for overdue accounts, subject to contract terms.

9. Intellectual Property

teknic.io retains all rights in the website, platform, tooling, methodologies, templates, and underlying software, excluding customer-owned content and deliverables expressly assigned by written agreement.

10. No Warranty

Except as expressly stated in a signed agreement, the website, public tools, and platform are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, teknic.io will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, business interruption, or data loss. Aggregate liability should be finalized by legal counsel and aligned with customer contract templates.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify teknic.io against claims arising from unauthorized target submissions, unlawful use, breach of these Terms, or violation of third-party rights, subject to final legal review.

13. Suspension and Termination

teknic.io may suspend or terminate access for security concerns, misuse, legal risk, unpaid balances, or violation of these Terms, subject to applicable contract terms.

14. Governing Law

Governing law, venue, dispute resolution, and notice provisions should be finalized by counsel based on the company’s operating structure and contracting strategy.
